The ASC Training Center is located on historic Donner Summit at the far west end of the Boreal Mountain Resort parking lot.  Closest city with full service amenities is Truckee, CA, 10 miles east.  Soda Springs and Serene Lakes located 3 miles to the west along Donner Pass road has a small market.

From the East:
Exit I-80 at the Castle Peak Exit, turn left at the stop sign, drive under the interstate then turn right at the “T”, into the Boreal Mt. Resort parking lot, continue West through the big open parking lot until you reach the Auburn Ski Club Training Center.

From the West:
Exit I-80 at the Castle Peak Exit, turn right at the stop sign, then turn right at the “T”, into the Boreal Mt. Resort parking lot, continue West through the big open parking lot until you reach the Auburn Ski Club Training Center.

 

The Auburn Ski Club Training Center is 23 miles from Lake Tahoe, the highest lake of its size in the United States, the third deepest lake in North America, and the tenth deepest lake in the world. We are 18 miles from Squaw Valley USA, site of the 1960 Olympics and 10 miles from the historic town of Truckee.

 

TRANSPORTATION INFO
We highly recommend making car rental arrangements well in advance. The Reno-Tahoe Airport is served by most of the major car and van rental agencies.

Unfortunately there is no direct public transportation to Auburn Ski Club, but there is free night service transportation around Truckee and cheap daily service around downtown Truckee, Lake Tahoe and Sugar Bowl ski area.
